Going in, I wasn’t sure what to expect—the idea of a ballerina-vampire from the trailers made it look super cheesy—but I was more than pleasantly surprised. This movie delivers.

Melissa Barrera has officially made my “if she’s in it, I’m watching” list, and this movie only solidified that. She absolutely owns every scene she’s in, bringing just the right mix of intensity and charisma. The whole cast plays well off each other, but Barrera is the standout, proving once again why she’s such a compelling presence on screen.
